Students standing for schools

With standardized testing, quizes, and threats of closing schools I have realized that the voice of education isn't who it should be. We the student body are affected by the education system everyday. The way they teach us is how we will live our lives. So, when we are graduating from years of being taught to a test, are we really prepared?

We live in a world of fear where people are afraid to stand up for what is right and say something when something is wrong. We the students of America need to unite and tell the politicans, the teachers, the people of America we want to be taught life skills not high stakes testing.

I as a high school student I started an organization called Students 4 Our Schools
where the students can stand up for education with the communities' support and help. I plan to make this organization a place where students, parents, teachers, educators, citzens of America, can go to speak up and take action on education today for a better tomorrow.

You make a very good point when you say that we live in a world of fear. I can admit to being fearful, but not anymore.
I've gotta say, great job with creating this organization! I'll support!
